I love productive days. My plans for today were rearranged. A last minute cancellation turned today into quite a productive day. I had a couple of meetings, one of which was to handover a completed quilt. It’s always nice to handover a longarm quilted quilt because it’s always a surprise. Nobody ever knows for sure what their quilt will look like once I’ve added a few thousand stitches to it! I also loaded my version of Ruth’s Quilt into the Lil Gracie frame ready for quilting. I recently had an email from someone regarding upgrading from quilting on a domestic machine to quilting on a frame. So Mal, I know you’ll join me if only in spirit on my journey to quilting on the Lil Gracie in my loft. It’ll be a few days before I get started in earnest.
Yesterday I promised to post a photo of my Little Sunday Bucket Bag once it was embellished. Well here it is with a few flowers added to it.I thoroughly enjoy Free Motion Quilting this little project. It gave me a chance to drop my guard and cut loose. All the quilting is random. I’m really pleased with this simple little bag. Now I need an outing so I can use it.
Well I haven’t seen one ray of sunshine today. I long for a bit of sunny warmth. I still dream of hanging around my beach hut barefoot listening to the waves wash up the sandy shore all the while sketching and dreaming of all the great things to come. Every day brings new challenges and successes in equal amounts. Today I got plenty of useful things done while enjoying every minute. I wonder how many people can boast such a thing!
So for this evening, this very happy longarm quilter will be working on hexagons. It’s a nice simple relaxing task for a Monday evening. Whatever you may be doing this evening, enjoy the time. Until you read me again,
Happy stitching.

I’ll be with you every step, or should I say stitch.
