Hello my lovely friends. Things are moving along at a really good pace here in happy longarm quilter land. The quilts are coming in fast and furious and my longarm quilting system is chugging away. I’m trying not to let anyone down. I’m working as fast as I can in order to get all the Christmas projects finished in good time. So in the spirit of bashing thru my work list I worked on two quilts today. Both these quilts were pieced by Pauline who has a pretty good eye for putting fabrics together. So this one is the first of Pauline’s quilts ….
This is a lovely sampler for which Pauline chose the Rose Garden by Apricot Moon and a grey thread that blends in really well with the fabrics. It never ceases to amaze me how putting a few thousand stitches into the three layers of your quilt adds so much texture and basically brings a quilt to life.
And this is Pauline’s second quilt. It’s a cheerful and charming little quilt. For this one Pauline chose a quilting design called Dragon Wings by Apricot Moon and a dark blue thread.
It’s been a busy day in my little world. While doing some longarm quilting I had a couple of consultation appointments along with some household commitments. Tomorrow will be spent in my sewing room longarm quilting again. Over the next 5-6 weeks I will be spending loads of time in my sewing room doing what it takes. And thru it all I will …..
So for this evening, this very happy longarm quilter will be recording ideas and plans for future projects. I hope you have a super cosy evening doing something festive. Until you read me again,
Happy stitching. ♥ ♥
