I’m still standing. Every day is filled with different things and just lately I’ve set myself a lot of challenges. Today was a slow paced day. A day when I go around and finish up, pick up and put away and simply catch my breath day. We all need time to breathe.
So I ran some errands and of course during the process of running errands I took time to enjoy coffee and cake. Yum. I eventually got around to do some very important reading …..
And caught up on some paperwork …..
In between all those important tasks I did minor household chores but at the end of the day when I finally sat down I had a treat. I watched a few lessons of the latest Craftsy class I purchased …..
This class called The Secrets of Freemotion Quilting by Christina Cameli is brilliant. Christina has a lovely calm soothing voice which is very pleasant making it interesting to listen to. She pushes all the same principles that I do including sketching out a design to give your brain a preview of what you want to stitch. I can’t wait to watch the rest of the lessons to continue learning. Everybody has a different take of Freemotion Quilting so you can’t help but learn something. So you can look forward to some new exciting Freemotion quilting designs stitched on my project.
Well it’s been a good day in my little world. Breathing is so important. Thru the day I have recorded news ideas in my notebook, gathered up fabrics and sketched out new templates for new projects I plan on working on over the next couple of months. How exciting.
So for this evening, this very happy longarm quilter will be hand piecing some more blocks. I hope you have a super cosy evening doing something festive. Until you read me again,
Happy stitching. ♥ ♥
