Hello my lovely readers. Have you had a chance to do any quilting today? Well I spent most of the day longarm quilting. You will be forgiven for thinking that I’m describing what I did yesterday. In fact my time spent in the sewing room today was pretty much a repeat of what I did yesterday. Just like the movie Groundhog Day. I longarm quilted the second of two very similar quilts for Norma …..
Both these quilts look fab. I’m quite sure Norma will be pleasantly surprised. Norma is new to quilt making and I’m sure she had no idea how nice her quilts would look once they were quilted.
It’s been dark and dreary pretty much all day in my little corner of the northeast of England. So I turned all the lights on and kept myself busy. Once I finished longarm quilting I traced and cut out freezer paper shapes for a wintry scene for next year’s whimsy project. I then proceeded to transfer some stitchery designs to background fabrics. Dark days like this make me want to hide under the duvet but I didn’t I just kept going and I feel better for it. Now I have plenty of evening armchair projects to be getting on with. Now if I could just stay awake in the evening I would actually be able to work on said projects.
So for this evening, this very happy longarm quilter will do some stitchery work. I hope you have a super cosy evening in front of the fire working on something that really makes you happy. Until you read me again,
Happy stitching. ♥ ♥
