Have you been busy these last couple of days? Have you been busy celebrating or just getting ready for the festive period next week? I’m not even sure what I’ve been up to but I do know that I have accomplished quite a lot of the last couple of days.
Yesterday I was so wrapped up in what’s in this project bin that I totally forgot to post my Monday report!
This bin is full of components and written info for a project for next year. I have been concentrating so hard and getting somewhere a lot faster than I thought I would. I have been enjoying the work which is always a good sign. It means that others will enjoy making it as well.
I got a rather sweet gift a couple of weeks ago. My lovely friend presented me with this very pretty little simple bell which now hangs on my twiggy tree. I love the ticket that reads hope. Without hope I believe there would be more duvet days!
Did you realise that there are only nine more sleeps until Christmas? And there are only two weeks left of 2014 ….. I spent several hours in front of my laptop this morning composing a list for 2015. Nothing on the list can really be considered a personal goal but I’ve still got an awful lot to accomplish in 2015. If I can pull it off it will definitely be my personal best. But for now I think I will just enjoy the festive season ahead. I will dream of sugar plum fairies and of a white Christmas. I will watch a DVD box set or two and do plenty of hand stitching. In other words I will make the most of the last few days of 2014 and look back on all the good times and the few sad times.
It’s been a great day in my little world. I did loads a little job that really needed to be done. I hope to do it all over again tomorrow. Are you getting anything done? Have you composed a To-Do List for 2015? I wasn’t going to but I decided that I had no choice if I wanted to get everything done.
So for this evening, this very happy longarm quilter will be doing some fine hand appliqué. I can’t to see how my current project turns out. I hope you have a super cosy evening doing something that puts you in the festive mood. Until you read me again,
Happy stitching. ♥ ♥
