Hello my lovelies. Here we are again. What kind of day have you had? Well mine has been super productive which help turn my day into a super day. I stepped out this morning to run a few errands to most important was to post some Christmas presents. I thought the post office would be heaving with customers; well there was only me there! So that made me think that the bank would be very busy; once again I was the only one there! And so it went on….. All in all it’s been a great day in my little world. Now if the rest of my week unfolds like today I’ll be a very happy longarm quilter.
I took some time to be a little creative this afternoon. I was hoping that everything would go smoothly and it did. After everything going really well this morning I was waiting for something to go wrong. I did some rotary cutting; I measured twice and cut once …..
I did some chain piecing after cleaning my machine …..
And the result is that the contents on my project bin is growing nicely …..
This current project has been fun because once again I am able to use up some of my stash. I just need a wee bit of fabric for sashing and borders to bring it all together.
I treated myself to something recently …..
I ordered these labels a couple of weeks ago. I’ve been searching for such a thing for a long time when my friend Viv recommended a company that could do this for me. My little labels will be perfect for samples and such.
Well I did a few festive related tasks today. I wrapped a few gifts but I still have quite a few more to do. This year I decided not to send Christmas cards. Or at least very few; only to those who I don’t see from one year to the next but want to keep in touch with. Sometimes it’s cheaper to make a phone call than it is to post a card halfway around the world!
So for this evening, this very happy longarm quilter will be joining a few hand pieced blocks together. I hope you have a super cosy evening something that makes you happy. Until you read me again,
Happy stitching. ♥ ♥
