Hello my lovelies. I’m back. I have been rather busy over the last few days with teaching and entertaining family. I had two great days teaching my beginners. As always my students were very animated. The topics of conversation varies from class to class and as usual we all had a great time.
I didn’t get much sewing done over the weekend but I did do some planning and designing. I made a template to bring a new design to fruition …..
I traced the template onto freezer paper and ironed it to the back of my chosen fabric. Isn’t freezer paper fabulous????
And now the fabric is tacked/pinned to the background fabric. These are the last blocks for my Four Season Whimsy. So watch this space for the latest progress on this project.
I have a little bit of good news for the ladies who live in my little corner of the northeast of England ….. Stitchin’ Heaven will be having their winter sale starting next Tuesday January 27th. So if you need a few bits for a new project or just a little something to finish something off, next week would be a great time to pop over and stock up. And while you’re there you can register for some of the classes I will be teaching over the next eleven months.
I stepped out for a bit this morning. I only went to the supermarket. My fridge was looking a bit bare. Well it’s full of good healthy food now. So there’s no excuse for not being good when it comes to food. It’s been cold and rather wintery here in my little world. We had a little snow yesterday. I do love seeing the snow flutter down past my window. I’m a snowbird at heart. Although I must admit that I was glad to come home out of the cold and wet this morning.
So for this evening, this very happy longarm quilter will be doing some fine hand appliqué. The end of my Whimsy project is in sight now. I hope you all have a super cosy evening doing something you love. Until you read me again,
Happy stitching. ♥ ♥
