It’s been another rather busy day spent in my sewing room doing a custom longarm quilting job on Karen’s festive quilt. I’m afraid my photos don’t do the quilt justice but I decided to post them anyway.
I quilted Karen’s quilt avoiding the appliqué patches. I did a combination of Freemotion and digital quilting. I stitched out all the designs in a lovely fine cream colour thread. I clicked go at just after 8am and thru my sewing room window I could see the skies growing dark and suddenly we had some snow showers. And then all of a sudden the sun was shining but mostly it was overcast today making my photos a bit dull.
Apart from answering another flurry of email enquiries about longarm quilting I didn’t get anything else done today. In fact I have a pile of tasks to perform this evening to catch up a little bit. I’m planning on stepping out in the morning. I need to get out of the sewing room for a few hours which means heading out otherwise I will gravitate to the sewing room. In order to have a little break I have to make myself leave the house! It’s sad isn’t it?
So today’s report is short and sweet. I promise to make up for it over the next few days.
So for this evening, this very happy longarm quilter will be sewing labels to class projects. I hope you have a super cosy evening doing something you really enjoy. I’m still waiting for the weather to arrive. Until you read me again,
Happy stitching. ♥ ♥
