Hello my lovelies. I hope you’ve all had as good a day as I have. If you’ve been following my activities over the last couple of days you will know that I’m on the home stretch of a project. Yes I did finish longarm quilting my Four Season Whimsy today. Here’s another little peek …..
After fishing around my project box I found one piece of leftover fabric that had enough left of it to make the binding …..
So I went on to machine the binding in place …..
So now I have the best part of the job left to do. I really enjoy this next part because it’s actually means that the project is almost finished. I love hand finishing the binding, adding the embellishments, hanging pocket and securing the label in place. So although I haven’t really finished the job, what’s left to finish is truly enjoyable for me.
So tell me what’s been going on in your world today. Have you had a bit of time to get some sewing done? Or have you been out enjoying some retail therapy? I stepped out this morning to run a couple of errands. Look what I bought …..
Aren’t these Perle Cotton threads lovely? I can’t wait to use these but first I have to do some drawing/designing. You know me. I love a challenge.
So that’s what I’ve been up to today. I’m really pleased with my accomplishments today. My Four Season Whimsy is looking even better than I imagined. And I think it will look even better when all the bits and bobs have been added.
Now today before I finish my report I would like to thank all my long time followers and welcome all my new followers. Please feel free to comment, I would love to hear from you.
So for this evening, this very happy longarm quilter will be doing bits and bobs racing to the finish line to complete my Four Season Whimsy. I hope you have a super cosy evening doing something you really enjoy. Until you read me again,
Happy stitching. ♥ ♥
