Hello my lovelies. I hope you’ve all had a super productive. It’s been a super busy on for me. I disappeared into my sewing room rather early and hit the go button on my longarm quilting system. And I’m very happy to report that I finished custom quilting my One Row at a Time quilt …..
There were no coffee breaks and my lunch break only lasted 10 minutes because I really wanted to finish the quilting on this quilt today. Not only did I finish the quilting but I went on to add the hanging pocket and the binding! I hope to post better photos later. It’s been another dark day in my corner of the northeast of England making it difficult to take reasonable photos. All in all I am very pleased with the way this project has turned out. I didn’t get the chance to work on anything other than my row quilt today but I did sketch a couple of ideas in my notebook. My two biggest project samples are finished. Now the instructions need to be composed which is best done first thing in the morning while I’m still with it.
I have decided that tomorrow is going to be a catch up day. After spending two days in my sewing room doing a custom quilting I think I need to spend a quiet day catching up on things. I have one or two small projects that need finishing up. And my sewing room is in desperate need of a good tidy. So once I have visited the supermarket and put my purchases away I will disappear into my sewing room to get on with a few things.
So for this evening, this very happy longarm quilter will be hand finishing the binding on the One Row at a Time quilt. I hope you have a super cosy evening doing something you love doing. Until you read me again,
Happy stitching. ♥ ♥
