Hello my lovelies. I hope you’ve all had a good productive day. Mine has been filled with busyness. I kicked off my day early in my sewing room. I worked on Edith’s quilt …..
Edith chose a quilting design called Cloud Nine by Patricia Ritter. And I stitched out the design with a lovely fine Delphinium coloured thread which matches beautifully with all the blue fabrics chosen by Edith. I’m sure Edith will cherish this quilt for many years to come.
In between appointments and such I loaded the next quilt into my longarm quilting system …..
This ginormous quilt was pieced by Susan and when I say it’s ginormous I mean it. Susan has decided on a quilting design called Easy Street by Lisa Calle. There are some lovely interesting fabric prints which draw your eye around this quilt. I can’t wait to start the longarm quilting to see just how lovely it will be.
The sun was shining brightly here this morning. The sunshine always spurs me on to get things done. So I suppose that’s why I got one quilt longarm quilted and another one loaded into my system. I received some sunny daffodils from one of my beginner sampler students on Saturday. Even if the sun wasn’t shining these sunny daffs made my room feel warm and cheerful.
And now I get to reveal another one of my Four Season Button Club Whimsical Applique & Stitchery quilt blocks. This one is the spring block …..
This Whimsical quilt is still hanging on my design and I still smile every time I catch a glimpse of it. I’m itching to start designing another Whimsy but I have a few things to finish up first.
It’s been a great day in my little world. Keeping busy is good for the soul and goodness knows I have been pretty busy lately. My next task for today is composing instructions for my One Row at a Time Quilt project …..
So for this evening, this very happy longarm quilter will be composing instructions and perhaps doing a little hexie work. I hope you have a super cosy evening doing something that makes you happy. Until you read me again,
Happy stitching. ♥ ♥
