Hello my lovelies. I hope you’ve all had a good and productive day. As always mine has been busy busy busy.
I kicked off my day in the sewing room rather early and I carried on until 3 o’clock when I realised that I was hungry. I was so involved in longarm quilting that I lost track of time! I never skip lunch if I can help it. I spent the day working on Susan’s quilt. This is what it looks like now …..
Susan’s quilt is in the category titled “one of the biggest quilts I’ve ever quilted”.
My HandiQuilter has stitched miles of thread today but it was worth it to see just how nice this quilts looks. I love its’ simplicity and Susan did such a good job pressing all the seams that it just loaded itself into my longarm quilting system. Even after all the years that I have been longarm quilting it still amazes me to see how different a quilt top looks once it has been quilted. After all, it is the quilting that makes the quilt.
So it’s been a pretty good day in my little world. Apart from walking my little Maisie dog first thing this morning I didn’t step out at all. I hope to visit the supermarket to top up the fridge and cupboards for the weekend. And if I’m lucky I might do some prep work on some new projects.
So for this evening, this very happy longarm quilter will be making booklets for Connect the Dots. I hope you have a super cosy evening doing something that makes you happy. Until you read me again,
Happy stitching. ♥ ♥
