Hello my lovelies. I hope you’ve all kept warm today. It’s been rather cold in my little corner of the northeast of England today. The sun was shining brightly but the gusting wind was pegging the temperature down. I was glad to be able to spend the day in my sheltered sewing room keeping warm while working on Sue’s quilt …..
This is another rather large quilt. In fact it’s the widest measurement I can load in my longarm quilting system. Sue selected a quilting design called A Little Bit This by Barbara Becker. And I stitched it out using a neutral coloured thread. I believe this quilt will be gifted to Sue’s daughter who lives in Portugal. It’s really nice knowing that some of the quilts I work end up in homes all around the world.
So I have no other sewing to report on today. I hope to have a finish to post about soon. At the moment I’m trying to work out how to hand quilt my Oval Dresden Plate Table Runner. And my Elongated Hexagon Bag needs handles. I have several other projects at the design on paper stage at the moment. I’m really having fun designing and bringing my projects to fruition. I wonder what tomorrow will bring.
So for this evening, this very happy longarm quilter will be doing some hand piecing. I hope you have a super cosy evening doing something you really enjoy. Until you read me again,
Happy stitching. ♥ ♥
