Hello my lovelies. And a happy St. Patrick’s Day to all my Irish readers. I hope you’ve all had a super day. My day started far too early. When my alarm clock started beeping at 6:15am I levitated off my bed. I didn’t want to get up but I had a big day ahead of me. I did a few jobs and headed out to the supermarket at 7:30am. Visiting the supermarket that early is quite an experience. By 9 o’clock I was home and putting my groceries away. And shortly after I was in my sewing room longarm quilting Christine’s lovely quilt …..
I spent most of the day trying to work out how to put this quilt together. I think my scraps would make a lovely quilt in this design. So watch this space.
I made miles of binding …..
Which I will hand finishing over the next couple of evenings. I’m sure Christine will love this quilt. Did I mention that Christine hand pieced this quilt including the borders? It was a labour of love.
I have a few other bits to report on but I didn’t get the chance to take any photos today. I spent the whole day in my sewing room and went straight from the sewing room to the kitchen to make our evening meal. And I will be returning to my sewing room once I have posted this report in order to load another quilt. It’s been a busy productive day in my little world.
So for later this evening, this very happy longarm quilter will be hand finishing the binding on Christine’s quilt. I hope you have a super cosy evening doing something you really love doing. Until you read me again,
Happy stitching. ♥ ♥
