Hello my lovelies. I hope you’ve all had a super day whatever you’ve been up to. I have been super busy working on Karen’s Happy Hedgehogs quilt today. I had a definite plan of action before I even started stitching this one. However after cleaning my quilting system and threading the sewing head I changed my mind about how to treat the borders. So I faffed on looking at designs until I found one that I thought would suit the quilt top. When I finally started stitching I knew immediately that I had made the right choice. So without further ado here is what Karen’s lovely cheerful quilt looks like now …..
Apart from my 20 minute lunch break I did not leave my sewing room. I just stitched and stitched until the job was done. So I have no other sewing progress to report at this moment in time. I must admit that I’m very pleased with how Karen’s quilt has turned out and I have no doubt she’ll be pretty happy with it too.
I plan on spending my evening doing some fine hand appliqué work. Hand appliqué is a lovely quiet relaxing activity after spending the whole day on my feet operating a nosy machine. Tomorrow I plan on doing another wee custom longarm quilting job on one of my own quilts.
So as you already know what I’ll be working on this evening all that’s left is to wish you a super cosy evening doing something you really enjoy. Until you read me again,
Happy stitching. ♥ ♥
