Hello my lovelies. I hope you’ve all had a splendid day. I’m not sure why but I’ve got that Friday feeling. You know that feeling you get at the end of the weekend when you’ve got something wonderful to look forward to on the weekend. There’s nothing special going on in my little world this weekend. I’m hoping to spend my weekend making a plan of action to get thru all the tasks on my To-Do List for the next few weeks.
We’ve had a bit of sunshine over the last couple of days. And the weatherman hasn’t mentioned frost for a bit. So I’m taking a chance by putting my hanging baskets out. I’ve been very lazy over the last couple of years because instead of making up my own hanging baskets I have purchased ready made one. Except for one which I made up today. It’s looking a little shell shocked at the moment but once it starts growing it will look fab. This happens to be an old decorative birdcage type thingy of which my Sarah has a small collection. This one happens to be surplus to requirements so I adopted it and turned it into a hang basket. It will hang just outside my sewing window where I can admire it thru the summer.
I did very little sewing today. I spent most of the day running around doing errands with a trip to the airport in between. My hubby has come home for a bit. I hope he brought the good weather with him.
Starting now I’m going to pretend I have lots of wonderful things to do over the weekend. And hopefully when I come back to you on Monday I will have some interesting things to tell you about. I have one or two quilty tasks that I must get finished over the weekend. So if you’re really lucky you’ll get to see what it’s all about. Starting right now I’m going to pretend that I’ve …..
So for this evening, this very happy longarm quilter will be planning a project and perhaps working on some hexies. I hope you have a super cosy weekend spending lots of time being creative. Until you read me again,
Happy stitching. ♥ ♥
