Hello my lovelies. I hope you’ve had a fantastic weekend and an even better start to the new week. It’s been another busy day in happy longarm quilter land.
We kicked off the day with a visit to the hairdresser. My Sarah and I have had a good trim and we’ll be tidy for a month or so. I had two other appointments today. One with Sheila and the other with Gail. Both ladies were dropping off quilts to be longarm quilted sometime over the next couple of weeks. The two quilts couldn’t be more different. You’ll just have to wait and see what the differences are.
I went on to finish longarm quilting Sandra’s quilt this afternoon. I worked and worked until the job was done. I even went back into my sewing to continue after I had my evening meal. Here’s a little peek at Sandra’s quilt now …..
I had a little accident this afternoon while longarm quilting this afternoon. Somehow my right index finger got in the way of the needle. I was very lucky that the needle did not hit my nail or the bone. The accident just serves to remind me that it’s so important to be careful whenever using sewing equipment. I’m quite surprised that over the 13 years that I have been longarm quilting this has never happened before!
Well it’s been a really good productive day in my little world. Tomorrow morning I’m going to be stepping out to do something completely different to what I usually do. I’m hoping for another good productive day on Wednesday.
So for this evening, this very happy longarm quilter will be trying to hand sewing using the injured right index finger. I hope you have a super cosy evening doing something that makes you happy. Until you read me again,
Happy stitching. ♥ ♥
