Hello my lovelies. I hope you all had a good productive day. It’s been a typical Monday in happy longarm quilter land. While it rained outside I hid in my sewing room.
I spent most of the day in my sewing room working on Jackie’s quilt …..
Jackie chose a quilting design called Rose Leaves by Designs by Vickie. I stitched the design using a very quiet thread which matches the background perfectly. I think Jackie will love her quilt. I know I do.
I went on to load another quilt into my longarm quilting system while my supper was cooking. This quilt top was pieced by our lovely Jenny who is only partially sighted. This quilt will be handed over to Quilts for Comfort when it’s finished.
I did a little prep work first thing this morning. I traced some leaves onto freezer paper and chose some embroidery thread to match the hexagons I was working on yesterday. I will be adding some stitchery work to my hexagon block.
It’s been another pretty productive day in my little world. I’m very pleased with the finished result of Jackie’s quilt and I look forward to doing some stitchery work on my hexagon block this evening. I chatted with some like-minded ladies in my sewing room this morning and I got a much needed haircut. I feel tidy again.
So for this evening, this very happy longarm quilter will be doing some stitchery work. I hope you have a super cosy evening doing something you truly love. Until you read me again,
Happy stitching. ♥ ♥
