Hello my lovelies. I hope you all had a super day. While the sun was shining I mooched about my sewing room. I longarm quilted Jenny’s quilt …..
Jenny does an excellent job of piecing quilts. As Jenny is only partially sighted her hubby, John, helps to match colours and such. Jenny is a prolific quilt maker. I hope to hand finish the binding on this quilt this evening at a sewing session which I will be attending in Burnopfield. This quilt is going to Quilts for Comfort .
I don’t know why but I was quite surprised to see the Back-to-School section at my supermarket up and running last evening. There’s something about all the back-to-school paraphernalia that I just can’t pass up. I didn’t need anything; but somehow these bits jumped into my trolley. Both items are useful in my little world.
I just realised something today ….. I’m all over the world without ever leaving my armchair. I take a few photos and write a few words to go with the photos and publish semi-regularly on this blog. So today I’ll take the opportunity to welcome all the new readers/followers. I hope you enjoy the read.
It’s been a pretty good day in happy longarm quilter land. I enjoyed my longarm session while the sun was shining and it was a pleasure to walk my Maisie in the sunshine this morning.
So for this evening, this very happy longarm quilter will be hand finishing the binding on today’s longarm effort and perhaps doing a wee bit of stitchery work. I hope you have a super cosy evening doing something you really love. Until you read me again,
Happy stitching. ♥ ♥
