Hello my lovelies. I hope you’ve all had a fab day. We’ve had a lovely in happy longarm quilter land. The sun was shining while I was longarm quilting. I stepped out into the garden with my little dog and we sat on the patio and enjoyed the warmth of the sun for a few minutes.
So after working my way thru my little list of chores this morning I finally disappeared into my sewing room to get my longarm quilting system cleaned and flashed up. Lorraine chose a quilting design called Hall of Mirrors by Apricot Moon and I suggested a pale grey thread and both look great on this quilt. Lorraine pieced this quilt for her grandson so Hall of Mirrors is perfect for a young male. I think Lorraine will be pleased with the finished result of her quilt.
Once I finished Lorraine’s quilt I decided to load Molly’s quilt into my longarm system. Molly used a lively Jelly Roll to piece this quilt. She told me that these lively fabrics are a wee bit out of her comfort zone. I think this is a fab quilt. I’m hoping to work on this one tomorrow while I wait for a couple of deliveries.
I’ve had a really good day in my little world. I’m pleased with my accomplishments and the sun was certainly a welcome sight. I’m hoping for a repeat of today tomorrow. For some unknown reason there didn’t seem to be any pressure today. Every day should be like today.
So for this evening, this very happy longarm quilter will be doing some fine hand appliqué or some stitchery work. I hope you have a super cosy evening doing something you really enjoy. Until you read me again,
Happy stitching. ♥ ♥
