Hello my lovelies. I hope you’ve all had a great day. Mine has been pretty productive.
Here’s what I’ve been longarm quilting today…..
This quilt was pieced by Christine and she chose a quilting design called Butterfly Walz by Apricot Moon and a cream colour thread. I think Christine will be well pleased with the finished result of this quilt.
Once I finished Christine’s quilt I went on to load another in my longarm quilting system …..
This one belongs to Jane. And Jane used a Jelly Roll to piece this log cabin type design quilt. I love the fabric collection. The muted colours against the bright red is just fab. So the quilting design I stitched out is called Acanthus by Donne Kleinke of One Song Needle Arts with a cream colour thread. I think Jane will be pleased with this quilt when she sees it up close and in person.
So it’s been a pretty busy and productive day in happy longarm quilter land. I spent all day in my sewing room longarm quilting. I spent most of the day on my feet so this evening it’s going to be feet up with some hand quilting and some mindless TV. Tomorrow will come all too soon and the day will be packed with errands and some phone calls which I should have made today.
So for this this, this very happy longarm quilter will be doing some hand quilting. I hope you have a super cosy evening doing something you truly enjoy. Until you read me again,
Happy stitching. ♥ ♥
dear lucie,
it’s always wonderful to see the quilts your longarming. it makes me feel quite envious of you. you not only get to see so many beautiful quilts but actually get to touch them and add up to their beauty by quilting them. When you write about it, it makes me want to have a longarm machine too 🙂 Wonderful job and I’m looking forward to your every new post!
Thanks for popping in Heike.
