Hello my lovelies. I hope you’ve all had super day. Mine has been busy but rather rewarding. After a quick trip to the super market I disappeared into my sewing room for a bit of fun. I did some of piecing …..
And then I layered the quilt top I pieced …..
After spending a while quilting I ended up with a splendid knitting bag.
I will be teaching this knitting bag and as bonus a needle roll at Stitchin’ Heaven on Friday September 11th. So if you want to learn how to make this nice bag with me please phone 01665 570 833.
I designed this knitting bag a couple of years ago and I stored my knitting in my first prototype as soon as it was finished but it wasn’t as pretty as this one is. So I decided to roll this project out as a class. It’s a super little bag that’s wide enough to hold long knitting needles, a pattern book as well as your current project comfortably.
Most of you will have heard by now but I thought I would help in getting the word out.
It breaks my heart that Stitchin’ Heaven is for sale but I wish Anne and Mick all best in all their future endeavours. As the letter says, if you’re interested in purchasing the business get in touch with either Anne or Mick on 01665 570 833.
So it’s been a great day in my little world. I played in my sewing room at my own speed and thoroughly enjoyed making one of my own designs come to life. I’m very pleased with the result of my effort. The next step is to write the instructions in the order that I approached the task of building my knitting bag.
So for this evening, this very happy longarm quilter will be doing some hand quilting. I hope you have a super cosy evening doing something you really enjoy. Until you read me again,
Happy stitching. ♥ ♥
