Hello my lovelies! Are all my British readers ready for the bank holiday weekend? I didn’t realise I had a long weekend ahead of me. What a nice surprise. I haven’t made much of a To-Do List for the last couple of days but I was still productive. I must make a plan of action for the long weekend otherwise my time will just be wasted. I need a plan.
Today, after running a few errands, I stepped into my sewing room to work on a Knitting Needle Roll …..
It’s a simple project but very useful and I used mainly leftover scraps from the Knitting Bag which I made yesterday.
It’s been a nice day in my little world. The sun has been shining all day and there’s a lovely fresh that will help dry the washing on the line quickly. I hope for this type of weather all weekend. I hope to pull into the slow lane and enjoy the scenery this weekend. I’m considering take a stroll on the beach if the weather stays fair. And perhaps I can sit quietly to do some hand quilting while watching some mindless TV. A quiet weekend sounds like a great idea.
I did a little job that I’ve been thinking about doing for some time but keep forgetting. Do you have one of these?
Well my friend Viv gave me this little non-skid thingy a few years ago. Today I gave it a little clean to keep it working nicely. I place it under my sewing machine peddle to keep it in place. Don’t you just hate chasing your sewing machine peddle all over the floor? Well this little non-skid circle does the job beautifully and reminds me of Viv every so often.
So for this evening, this very happy longarm quilter will be doing some hand quilting. I hope you have a cosy evening doing something you real enjoy. Until you read me again,
Happy stitching. ♥ ♥
