Hello my lovelies. I hope you’re all enjoying the long weekend. It’s been a lovely weekend in happy longarm quilter land. So far the weather has been fine and I’ve been mooching about at my slow measured pace. So it’s been a real treat mooching about without any deadlines.
I felt like spending some time in my sewing room yesterday but I didn’t want to get involved in something complicated. My brain needed a little break but I still wanted to do some crafting. So I pieced another Dresden Plate …..
And once the Dresden Plate was pieced I loaded another quilt into my longarm quilting system for stitching on Monday or Tuesday.
Today I disappeared into my sewing room again with a project in mind. So I dragged out some hessian ……
And then I fished out some tweed and did a bit of magic and turned it into this …..
All I need to finish this project off is some wooden buttons. This sample is for my Seasonal Wreath class in September. If you would like to learn how to make a wreath with me please phone Stitchin’ Heaven on 01665 570 833. Once again bringing my design to life was so much fun. I look forward to seeing what my ladies will produce during my class.
Today is Sunday and Sunday’s have traditionally been for getting ready for the week ahead. Well I didn’t have to do that today because tomorrow is a holiday. One more day to mooch about to do as much or a little as I want. What a lovely day.
So for this evening, this very happy longarm quilter will be doing some hand quilting. I hope you have a super cosy evening doing something you really enjoy doing. Until you read me again,
Happy stitching. ♥ ♥
