Hello my lovelies. I hope you all had as good a day as I had. I spent my day at Stitchin’ Heaven in the company of like-minded ladies. And we all worked on making a Seasonal Wreath. My ladies worked hard to get on with the task …..
My sample of a Seasonal Wreath was autumnal but I encouraged my ladies to stamp their own personality to their project. And so they did. Here’s an example …..
Tracy’s wreath has a springtime feel to it and will look fab in her kitchen.
Joany brought her friend today and they were making Christmas themed wreaths …..
Barbara used some beautiful wool tweed type fabric …..
And Diane used some beautiful autumnal plum colour fabrics for her leaves of which I did not get a photo but I did catch Diane with her hands in the button box …..
The more I talk with other women my age the more I find I have in common with them. It turns out that I’m not as unique as I thought I was. We all have addictions. As you might have guessed we spoke of about addictions today. It turns out that quite a few of us love pretty and interesting tins and boxes. And some of us like bags of all description. And of course others love and collect fabrics of all types. Well I’m afraid I am addicted to all these things and more. I suppose I am a prolific collector of all kinds of wonderful things. So in my quest to collect wonderful things I will be going on a road trip south tomorrow. I plan on going to Yarndale to have a good look around. I have a wee list of things I would like to investigate and perhaps purchase. The weather is supposed to be pretty good for a road trip and I’m looking forward to stepping out.
So for this evening, this very happy longarm quilter will be doing some fine hand appliqué. I hope you have a super cosy evening doing something you really enjoy doing. Until you read me again,
Happy stitching. ♥ ♥
