Hello my lovelies. I hope you’ve all had a great day. My little world, happy longarm quilter land, has been sooooo busy. I spent all day in my sewing room longarm quilting Pat’s very large quilt…..
Pat chose a quilting design called Wisteria by Patricia Ritter and a Rich Sand thread that blends in beautifully. This large quilt turned out super and I think Pat, who has gone off the quilt, will be pleasantly surprised with the finished result.
On my travels over the last few weeks, getting Sarah settled in her new university digs, I came across this sign which I just love …..
Yesterday I boasted about going to Yarndale over the weekend. Well here are a couple of my purchases …..
Until recently I didn’t know that there was such a thing as pottery wool bowls. Well I love this one so much that I’m going to make sure that I’ve got a knitting project going at all times! And since my last visit to a wool related show I fancied having a go at spinning so I purchased a Drop Spindle kit. I have no idea how well I’ll be able to spin but I thought I’d give it a go.
It’s been a really good day in my world. My longarm quilting system was chugging away all day and I managed to answer a few enquiries. My doorbell went a few times with quilts arriving and a finished quilt being collected. It’s been a day full of busyness.
So for this evening, this very happy longarm quilter will be either doing a bit of knitting or some fine hand appliqué. I’m spoiled for choice of projects. I hope you have a super cosy evening doing something you really enjoy. Until you read me again,
Happy stitching. ♥ ♥
