Hello my lovelies. I hope you all had a super productive day. After my hair appointment first thing this morning I decided to run some errands. You can tell Christmas is just around the corner because the shops are pretty busy. Only 38 sleeps left until Christmas.
I got home in time for some lunch and after that I disappeared into my sewing room to work on my Christmas Surprise class sample. I have been planning this project for some time. Well the project is finished, it just needs a little embellishment. Here’s little sneaky peek ……
I can’t tell you what it is because it’s supposed to be a surprise! I’m quite pleased with my effort. And it was fun to make. I chose the traditional red and green Christmas colours to piece this project. For my Christmas is red and green with a bit of gold bling. The first Christmas Surprise class will be on Thursday December 3rd. We’re already thru the first half of November. The end of the year will be here before we know it!
So it’s been a pretty good day in my little world. Slowly but surely I’m ticking off the tasks on my To-Do List. Tomorrow I plan on disappearing into my sewing room to load another quilt into my longarm quilting system. I’m hoping to take inventory of my thread so I can place an order. And I expect a few deliveries. So tomorrow is a good day to stay home to wait for parcels to arrive and get a few jobs done.
So for this evening, this very happy longarm quilter will be doing some fine had appliqué work. I hope you have a super cosy evening doing something you really enjoy doing. Until you read me again,
Happy stitching. ♥ ♥
