Hello my lovelies. I hope you all have a super day. It’s already Thursday! I feel like I’ve slept thru the beginning of the week.
I didn’t do any sewing or longarm quilting today. I popped out to the supermarket to restock my fridge and the jeweller to purchase some new earring backs. Bingo; success in both places.
I spent most of the afternoon composing instructions for my Christmas Surprise class on Saturday. I’m looking forward to seeing what my ladies make of my surprise project. I like what I’ve produced and truth be known I think they will too. Working on Christmas as a group is always fun. You will understand that the project is meant to be a surprise so I cannot at this point post a photo of the project. When the classes are over I will definitely post about it.
We had lots of good sunshine today. So I worked on my laptop in my sewing where the best light was. It was bright and warm. And my little Maisie settled in the chair in the window and snored to her heart’s content.
I was really pleased to get up this morning. I couldn’t wait to start my day. I’m having spot of bother with technology again. This time it’s my tablet that’s not wanting to let me read my novels. I like to read for a few minutes at bedtime so after trying to sort it myself with no success I had the bright idea to revert to my old E-Reader. After charging it this morning I had a go to see if I could view my novels on it and Bingo again. So I will be able to have a little read at bedtime this evening. I hate technology when it doesn’t do what I want it to do.
So once I have finished teaching the Christmas Surprise classes and two last beginner’s mixed classes later in December I will have a little extra time to work on my own projects. I reckon I would like to do a little hand quilting on this …..
And I would like to use up some of my stash on making this quilt …..
I have always loves the look of these thread spools. I think this would look super as a scrappy quilt. It will give me chance to use up some of those rogue fat quarters that I bought because I liked them but didn’t have a sure plan for. I really like a scrappy look. I can’t wait to get started.
So for this evening, this very happy longarm quilter will be working on clamshells again. I hope you have a super cosy evening doing something you truly enjoy. Until you read me again,
Happy stitching. ♥ ♥
