Hello my lovelies. I hope you’ve all had a super productive Monday. I packed my day full of this and that. I did a little longarm quilting and I did a little prep work on the birdhouse block of my Sweet Hearts Dozen.
The best thing I did this morning was a little bit of intense gardening. Between us, Sarah and I pulled what felt like a huge tree out of the ground and got it ready for disposal. Over the last few months I have set myself some overwhelming goals and challenges and somehow I have succeeded. I seem to be able to overcome the obstacles that could keep me from succeeding. Sarah cheers me on all the way. I would never take up gardening professionally but I’m quite happy sorting out my own little garden this year. It seems to be growing wild and out of control. Now my sewing room is a room with a very pleasant view.
It’s been a brilliant day in my little world. I managed to do all the tasks listed on my To-Do List and more which set me up to succeed for the rest of the week. The sun was shining and the birds were singing sweetly while we worked outside. I’m actually looking forward to my next outdoor session. It’s been a really good day and I have no doubt that I will sleep well tonight.
So for this evening, this very happy and super ambitious longarm quilter will be working on laying out an appliqué block. I hope you have a super cosy evening doing something you love doing. Until you read me again,
Happy stitching ♥ ♥
