Hi Lucie I laughed when I read about the slugs and snails.
My family thinks it’s gross the way I pick them up when I see them.
I go out at night and pour boil water over them. Get the cheapest salt
you can find and sprinkle it liberally on pathways.
Is there anything happening with Quilts of Comfort at the moment?
Hi Sheila, it’s lovely to hear from you. Slugs and snails give me the willies especially at night when you crunch on snail shells. Yuck.
There is always plenty going on with Quilts for Comfort. Sandra delivered 70 quilts to the RVI last week. It’s the first time in three years that we handed over every last quilt we had in reserve. However, no sooner did Sandra hand them over that a dozen finished quilts were handed in. So rest assured that all the scraps you’ve sent over are being used. I still attend a volunteer meeting on the last Wednesday of every month and I also help turn quilt tops in quilts by longarm quilting them. So although we’re quiet things are still going on in the background. Thanks for much for supporting Quilts for Comfort. It’s definitely a worthwhile charity.
